Overview

Nepal Cultural Tour is started with the world heritage sites in Kathmandu. Pokhara, Chitwan and Lumbini are best visited places after Kathmandu in Nepal’s tourism industry while Pokhara is famous for its beautiful sceneries and the mountains views. Chitwan is famous for the wildlife activities and Lumbini is famous for Mayadevi Temple, Buddha Stupas and many other monasteries. A glimpse of itinerary is given below which is customizable.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Fly to Kathmandu. You shall be met at the airport & transfer provided to hotel. O/nt at hotel.
  • Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur, Bodhnath, Pashupatinath & the Kathmandu Durbar Square. O/nt at hotel.
  • Day 3: Halfday sightseeing tour of Swayambhunath & Patan. O/nt at hotel.
  • Day 4: Early morning drive to the Royal Chitwan National Park. At the lodge, the Jungle Guide will brief you on Asia’s biggest game reserve. O/nt at lodge.
  • Day 5: Safari activities Include Elephant ride into the jungle for excellent game viewing, Jungle walk, Canoe ride. Later in the evening, Cultural dance will be performed by the local inhabitants – The Tharu’s. O/nt lodge.
  • Day 6: Early morning Bird Watching tour. After breakfast, proceed to Lumbini – The birth place of Lord Buddha. O/nt at hotel.
  • Day 7: Full day excursion of Lumbini. Visit the sacred place where Princess Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Buddha and various monasteries. O/nt at hotel.
  • Day 8: Fly to Kathmandu. You will be transferred to Dhulikhel, a scenic village famous for it’s views of the snow capped mountains. O/nt at resort.
  • Day 9: View the sunrise and the himalayan ranges. Later in the afternoon, transfer to Kathmandu. O/nt at hotel.
  • Day 10: Free day in Kathmandu for shopping and relaxation. O/nt at hotel. Day 11: The day is free until your transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

  9. Cost raised by cancellation, landslide, weather, political unrest, illness which are not under our control.

We advise travel insurance to all travelers are interested of trekking in Nepal. Trekking in Nepal is walking in the trail (path) of mountains. In mountain areas health treatment facilities are not standard. There are less available of good hospitals and doctors. So if in case the trekker suffers from severe sickness, he should bring to Kathmandu by helicopter for better treatment. And the helicopter charter fare is expensive in Nepal. If you have already travel insurance, your money will be saved.

When selecting a travel insurance policy we require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. We Himalayan Smile Treks and Adventures Pvt. Ltd. shall have no liability for loss, theft of or damage to baggage or personal effects.

We also let you know that Nepalese Insurance Company does not have travel insurance policy for foreign nationals. They have this policy only for Nepalese citizens. So we advise you do your travel insurance with Insurance Company in your own place.
